Privacy Policy
How HostingCPU collects, uses, and protects information.
This Privacy Policy applies to hostingcpu.com, customer onboarding, support interactions, payment workflows, and the services offered by HostingCPU.
1. Identity of the Service Provider
This Privacy Policy applies to services provided by HOSTINGCPU, located at 39/2475-B1, Suite 666, LR Towers, SJRRA 104, S Janatha Rd, Palarivattom, Kochi, Kerala 682025, India. For privacy, policy, or account-related questions concerning this Privacy Policy, contact [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
HostingCPU may collect account details, company and billing information, tax details, support communications, identity-verification data, technical logs, IP addresses, authentication data, payment metadata, service usage data, audit records, and information submitted through contact, order, or ticket forms.
3. Why We Use Information
We use information to provide services, process payments, verify orders, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, secure systems, improve operations, communicate service notices, comply with law, and enforce our agreements. Where applicable, HostingCPU intends this policy to support notice and processing practices consistent with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, subject to the scope and applicability of that law to the relevant processing activity.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with payment processors, infrastructure vendors, registrars, fraud-prevention providers, technical subcontractors, professional advisers, and authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights, systems, customers, or the public. We do not sell customer personal information as a data broker.
5. Customer Content and Hosted Data
HostingCPU acts primarily as a service provider or infrastructure provider for hosted content. Customers remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and permissions relating to the data they store, transmit, or publish through the services. For hosted end-user data controlled by a customer, the customer remains primarily responsible for notices, lawful basis, consent management where applicable, grievance handling, and compliance obligations owed to its own users, employees, students, patients, or other data subjects.
6. Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, recordkeeping, and legitimate business operations. No internet-facing system is perfectly secure, and HostingCPU does not warrant that any website, server, application, communication channel, ticketing workflow, database, or storage layer will be immune from interception, hacking, malware, unauthorized access, accidental deletion, misuse, or data leakage. HostingCPU uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to reduce risk, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction relating to personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify identity and may retain information where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, contractual, or evidentiary reasons. Where Indian data protection rights apply, HostingCPU will consider requests in a manner intended to align with applicable statutory rights, operational constraints, and lawful exemptions.
8. Grievance and Sensitive Data Handling
HostingCPU may designate privacy or grievance handling through its official support or compliance channel. Requests, objections, and grievances must contain enough information for identity verification and issue assessment. Payment card data is typically processed through payment providers rather than stored directly by HostingCPU except where operationally necessary and legally permissible.
9. International Handling
Your information may be processed in jurisdictions where HostingCPU, its providers, or its infrastructure partners operate. By using the services, you understand that data may be transferred or processed across borders as necessary to provide the services.
10. Policy Updates
HostingCPU may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless another effective date is stated.
